This is one of those questions thoughtful people ask early on, so let’s get right to it:

Is this just a fun hobby, or is this built to last?

Short answer: This is very real — and it’s built for the long haul. It’s hosted on enterprise-level AWS infrastructure, fully self-managed, and designed to grow. This isn’t sitting on a home PC that’ll vanish with a power outage.

:money_with_wings: How It’s Funded Right Now

Right now, the project (this forum, the videos, the content) is funded through a mix of:

  • eBook sales – modest, but helpful
  • Coloring book sales – sometimes enough to cover full project costs
  • My consulting business (AyotteConsulting) – covers the rest

None of it is free — but it’s important. I’ve committed to building this whether it pays back right now or not.

:bullseye: What I’m Working Toward

My long-term goal is simple:

I want this to become my full-time job.

Not trying to get rich — just trying to do meaningful work with the people who value it. Right now, the total income from all sources doesn’t even match a single week of my day job salary.

But with time, community, and support — that could change.
